The work we do at Paces is truly life-changing. At Paces we use a method of support called Conductive Education, this is a Hungarian Method integrated and engrained into everything we do. Through Conductive Education we start to teach our children how to walk, talk, sit, stand, and develop themselves so they can gain as much independence as possible, all in an environment where they can feel safe, feel like they belong, build friendships and most importantly have fun! We also use Conductive Education within our Adult Service provision to ensure our adults remain as active as possible and do not lose the use of their mobility. We also teach life skills such as cooking, ordering food shops, feeding themselves and once again ensuring they are as independent as possible within an environment that is fun, engaging and full of friends. At Paces, we focus on ability, not disability!
