Our boat needs repairs!

Help us to fund essential repairs to our club boat!

Oxford BSAC is one of a few scuba diving clubs in the country with access to a hardboat, named Endeavour, allowing us to offer an affordable and unique diving experience to members.

After 15 years of service, the engine is in dire need of repair - despite the best efforts of our dedicated volunteers to maintain it. Endeavour is the backbone of our club, providing a platform for affordable scuba diving and training for our members.

As a community driven scuba diving club, we run a range of activities:

Introduce members of the community to diving through try-dives
Run regular diving trips
Train members to dive
Run social events

Funding

We will be spending the funding we receive on the following area of our club.

Boat Repairs - We have a list of jobs that require parts and professional assistance, all of which costs money! All money raised will go towards repairing the boat to a safe & seaworthy condition, with any extra money raised being put towards a fund to keep the boat maintained going forward.

Cruise around the historic port of Plymouth

Take in the sights of Plymouth from the deck of the Endeavour. With it's importance as a critical military port predating the 1600s you'll get a unique view of the historical sites around the bay! If you're lucky you'll also get to glimpse some of the impressive marine life on offer, with dolphins making appearances in the bay! Trips will be run on non-diving weekends where skippers are available - Tea & Coffee included!

Purchase your dives in advance whilst contributing to the repair fund! This reward entitles the purchaser to 4 days of boat diving off Endeavour. This reward does not expire until all dives are used.
