We're still collecting donations
On the 29th April 2021 we'd raised £2,085 with 66 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 29th April 2021 we'd raised £2,085 with 66 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Our usual method of collecting donations (e.g. bake sales, raffles at events) has been hampered by the Covid restrictions and so funds usually acquired throughout the year have not been met. We hope to go beyond our target to continue to support the school financially in the way we do annually, e.g. the P7 transition in to High School, assistance with new items for the school etc.
Thanks so much for your contribution.
What is happening?
The Parent Council of Kinghorn Primary School are aiming to raise funds for some new outdoor play equipment to improve the outdoor learning experience.
Why?
The goal is to help our children thrive outdoors through active play. We want to support the children to grow, play and learn outside.
What do we need?
We are looking for a large container to store loose part play items. A shipping container would be perfect.
The nursery need a new outdoor climbing frame to replace the old damaged one.
Why is this needed?
The container will be filled with loose parts; tyres, logs, rope, pots and pans, crates, crates on wheels…. This sort of play promotes; problem solving, teamwork, communication, risk taking and more! Plus, at the moment there is the added benefit of being outside!
What can I do?
1) Please donate to the fund via the link below.
2) Once we have our container, we will be looking for things to fill it. Please think about keeping aside for us tyres, logs, wheels, pots, crates, rope etc. until we are ready to house them.
Who will benefit?
All ages groups from Nursery- P7 will benefit from these resources and if we get it right, it will last for a long time!
