Maximise the space available at the school which has been impacted by the Covid19 rules to create two new outdoor classrooms.
by PFA St Alban's CP School in Cambridge, England, United Kingdom
This year the PFA St Alban's Catholic Primary School wants to keep helping the school and our children, even if the pandemic has limited our options.
As an inner city school, we don't have lot of space or green outdoor areas. This makes the situation very challenging for teachers when they need to keep our children within their own bubble. Under these new circumstances, the school needs to be able to offer as much outdoor learning space in the fresh air as possible, to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
This is why the construction of two new outdoor classrooms, on a brown-fill space, is vital. At the moment, the school has two internal classrooms with no outdoor walls, (with no air flow) and another classroom with only one outer wall. However the windows can not be opened wide, as the room is not on the ground floor.
Hopefully with this crowdfunding initiative, we can raise all the resources we need to to carry out this important project for our school.
Thank you for helping our community and collaborating to support the development of our children's wellbeing.
Good bless you and your families and keep our children safe.
