Aim: Nicu journey is hard for everyone,our aim is to purchase equipment for our babies and parents to make the journey as easy as possible x
Hi we are the nicu summer sizzlers, 25 of our dedicated team from the Grimsby neonatal unit have chosen to set up a group to all lose weight , get healthier and regain some of our fitness that we’ve all struggled to maintain through the pandemic.
We decided that we would set up a WhatsApp group to encourage and support one another and also it was decided that not only would we gain personally we wanted our babies and families to gain also , so decided to crowdfund to see if we can raise enough money to purchase life saving equipment and resources for parents ,the equipment is highly expensive and the target we have put to raise is a great starting figure but we would love to raise more and post pictures on here showing people how their generous gift can help these amazing babies, and update you on our weight loss journey.The team has worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic so it would be amazing to see something great come out of this , thankyou all so much for your support and kindness
