Aim: Our Family Law aims to help separated Families and Solicitors navigate the legal system. Over 55,000 Families a year end up in legal dispute
My Family Law case has spanned over 5 years and contains everything from post separation abuse to Parental triangulation. I’ve had over 75 court hearings and been represented by legal aid Solicitors, private Solicitors and even represented myself. My health has suffered greatly as has my career and finances but mostly my Children have suffered.
Throughout my experience I’ve witnessed an abundance of things that are wrong in the system such as legal aid Solicitors having funding cut to a lack of regulation and a counter productive complaint process.
An app which is used by the instructed Solicitor which is AI task generated which can be viewed by the Client at any time along with any Co-counsels, court Judges and CAFCASS; governing bodies/regulatory agencies would improve the legal system in many ways and revolutionise the system.
Firstly the Client, the Parent who is going through the most stressful experience would have peace of mind that there case is being progressed and can check for updates 24/7 and see at a glance what has happened and what will be happening in the future. The app would also give tips on how to handle situations in court and help the Children in this stressful situation and local services such as Women’s aid.
The Solicitors would benefit as the AI generation of task flow would enable them to manage there time better which would impact the amount of Clients they take.
The law society and legal aid could see at a glance how the case is proceeding and being managed by the instructed Solicitor.
The app will increase workflow for the Law firm and decrease the Parents stress levels while giving complete transparency to everyone involved which ultimately helps the 100,000 plus Children going through the Family courts every year.
