Ottery St Mary Silver Band Bandroom Project

The OSMSB has been in existence for over 100 years and are very excited to have recently, with the help of much appreciated donations by local supporters, agreed to acquire the Methodist Church in Mill Street so that the Band and Brass Class can hold rehearsals, safely store instruments and maintain an extensive music library in their very own band room. During its 100 years the OSMSB has had many rehearsal venues including, at one time, the Methodist Church. The Brass Class members, which can be over 20 strong, have been rehearsing in the Old Town Hall premises, having to fit themselves in amongst instruments and music library cabinets. Our new band room will be such a welcome improvement for both bands and any gratefully received funding from this project will be put towards improving lighting, heating, access to store room and security.
