This is an emergency appeal in response to the recent developments in Africa this is a rapidly evolving situation, and we are responding as fast as we can, and trying to keep in touch with our field offices on the ground in Africa.

Orphans are often more vulnerable to exploitation, abuse, and violence due to their disadvantaged circumstances. 

Limited Opportunities:

The lack of education and opportunities can lead to a cycle of poverty and limited prospects for a better future. 

Emotional and Psychological Trauma:

The loss of parents and the instability of their lives can lead to emotional and psychological trauma. 

Contributing Factors:

HIV/AIDS, conflicts, and poverty are among the primary contributors to the high number of orphans in Africa.
