We are planning to open a third "Shed" soon, to cater for increased membership, thus improving the wellbeing of the local community.

Our Shed was formed in 2014 to help improve the wellbeing of its' members by undertaking projects on behalf of local community organisations. We have grown our membership to 37 at present mainly, but not exclusively, retired men. We operate from two Sheds at present and are planning to open a third in the near future.

With the cooperation of the Local Council and the local MP and Minister of Justice for HMG, we will have access to a suitable industrial unit which we plan to fit out with a workshop and machine shop. We hope to acquire grant funding for this fit out and now seek crowdfunding for the revenue costs of operating the facility over the next three years.

The images below were taken at our existing Sheds in Cheltenham & Gloucester.

We plan to design this facility to enable us to accept new members and create a suitable environment for less able members to join. We believe this facility will help us increase membership significantly over the the next three years.

To operate the Shed for three years will cost approximately £15,000, or £5,000 per year. This will cover the costs of insurance, energy, heating compliance etc.1712771993_mens_shed_hempsted_april_2019_5.jpg
