I've enjoyed writing and illustrating OoberEarth over the past ten years.
Recently I've added chapters dealing with Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Robots and Global Communication.
All under the pen name "Professor Rowland Plant". Sometimes people ask me about this pen name, especially calling myself a "Professor". I checked this with a real professor and he said that as it's fiction and comedy, anything goes.
OoberEarth is a comedy, thinly disguising the serious messages conveyed in each chapter. It's an adventure story and a love story too.
The book starts with a 'what if?' and goes on to explore the planet named OoberEarth.
It's sci-fi but only just, maybe it's sci-fi lite: The story is all about people and their lives, some space travel and most importantly, global happiness.
OoberEarth is a planet like our own, populated by 10 billion people who are like us. As you read on, the plausibility of this claim becomes clear.
Here's another thing: They have never experienced war, poverty or illness.
They are happy.
Can we learn from them?
