In Kaiser’s Own Words:
”My name is Kaiser Onywoki, and though I have known struggle, I have also known resilience. I have given of myself where I could, offering my time and energy in service to others, I have had the honor of volunteering, standing beside those who seek renewal and transformation. I never imagined that I would one day need that same kindness in return.
On January 9, 2025, my path took an unexpected turn. I was assaulted by unknown individuals—an attack that left me not only physically wounded but facing challenges I never could have foreseen. In the aftermath, I have been fighting not just for healing but for stability, for the ability to reclaim my footing and move forward.
Among the injuries I sustained, my teeth were severely damaged. The pain is not just physical—it is a weight that lingers, a reminder of what was taken from me. Three of my were damaged, one tooth must be removed and replaced another one Rct should be repaired, without this care, I risk further health complications. But the cost of treatment is beyond what I can carry alone.
At the same time, I am struggling to meet my most basic needs. Rent, food, and survival itself have become battles I fight daily. I have done my best to push forward, to seek work, to find ways to regain my independence, but some burdens are too heavy to lift without the hands of others reaching out.
I do not take lightly the act of asking for help. It is not an expectation, nor a demand—it is a hope. I hope that the same kindness I have tried to give to others may now find its way to me in my time of need. I hope that with the right support, I will not just endure but rebuild.
I am grateful to those who take the time to read my story and hold even a flicker of compassion for my journey. We are not alone even in our darkest hours. We rise together.”
