We provide an effective conduit between hospitality employers and referral charities in order to help connect people facing homelessness, prison leavers and veterans into new careers within the hospitality industry.

Our Mission is to act as an effective conduit between employers in the hospitality industry and charities working with people facing or at risk of homelessness including prison leavers and veterans, to connect them into long term, stable employment. We facilitate training and development programmes and offer additional financial support to those who need it to overcome any barriers to employment.

Our aim is to support ending homelessness through employment within the hospitality sector and we are the only organisation that provides free access to employment opportunities within hospitality to the whole of the homelessness sector through our bespoke jobs board. This has not been done before within the homelessness sector.

Since October 2018 we have helped connect 415 people into employment adding c.£11 million to the economy.

We understand the importance employment plays in breaking the cycle of homelessness not just through income which helps sustain housing but by raising confidence, improving mental health and wellbeing, increasing self-esteem, and creating new personal and social networks.

The wide spectrum of hospitality employers on the programme, means candidates have a full choice of roles within the hospitality sector from Kitchen Porter to head office functions and plenty of development opportunities within that. Candidates who require additional short-term financial support with their rent, travel costs, uniforms, and initial living expenses can access a one-off grant of up to £1500. No monies are paid to our members but directly to the supplier/provider.

In a world where homelessness can be ended through collaboration, we are able to bring a number of key areas together to do this - employers, training providers, and the charity sector. Through our work and campaigns we are also raising awareness of homelessness, the impact it has on people experiencing homelessness, the stigma attached to homelessness, and challenging wider society to get involved in ending this.

Over the next 3 years, our vision is to help a further 700 people facing homelessness into employment giving each the chance to forge a pathway to a brighter future.1646055803_susan_v2_tw.jpg
