Aim: This fundraiser supports three urgent humanitarian crises — in Gaza, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Every pound/euro counts.

Meet at Ben A'an car park at 9 am on Saturday, 21st June.

We are a group of teachers based in Glasgow, coming together to do our bit for humanity. We care deeply about the crises in Palestine, Sudan, and DR Congo, and want to raise awareness, spread hope, and raise funds for trusted, community-led charities.

On 21st June, near the end of our school term, we will be doing a group hill walk with friends and family. It’s not about the physical challenge — it’s about coming together for a shared cause, standing in solidarity, and sparking conversation.

After deep research, we selected:

  • Gaza Go Bragh (Gaza Forever) – supporting families and children in Gaza through grassroots aid. https://www.instagram.com/gazagobragh/?hl=en
  • Hope and Haven for Refugees – helping Sudanese refugees rebuild lives with dignity. https://www.hopeandhavenforrefugees.org/
  • Eastern Congo Initiative – empowering local communities, especially women and youth, in eastern Congo. https://easterncongo.org/

We chose smaller, trusted initiatives over big-name charities because we believe in direct impact, accountability, and community leadership. Please take a moment to visit the charities’ pages to see the real impact your donation can make and the vital work they do every day (links above).

Your donation will be divided equally across all three causes. Every pound or euro helps provide food, shelter, medical care, and hope.
