Michael Chekhov Studio London is creating an exciting new play. Made up of emerging creatives passionate about bold, socially engaged storytelling. Our team brings together performers, designers, and producers from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared commitment to making theatre that’s sharp, relevant, and accessible.

Our debut show, On the Dotted Line, is a contemporary financial farce inspired by Anton Chekhov’s lesser-known plays. It blends satire and heart to explore the absurdities of modern capitalism, identity, and survival. We want to make audiences laugh—and think—about the systems we live within.

Our vision is to build a company that nurtures early-career artists while creating ambitious, thoughtful work. The money we raise will go directly towards paying our cast and creative team fairly, covering access costs, rehearsal space, marketing, and set/tech.
