2 pairs of sisters from Swim Bournemouth, Amy & Ellie Brown and Harriet & Georgia Fish, wanted to do something to show their support and raise money to help the club as three lockdowns have hit the club hard financially.
The girls will be walking the equivalent of all the Tokyo Olympic swimming events added together 16350m, which is 10.1miles. They will be walking a route between swimming pools they have all swam in whilst training with the club. Starting at Canford School via Stokewood Road and finishing at Littledown Centre. To breakup the walk they have decided to do 2 different activities; for freestyle and backstroke they will walk and for butterfly and breaststroke they will run/jog.
This activity will be carried out on Sunday 11th April 2021
