We're still collecting donations
On the 18th April 2020 we'd raised £396 with 21 supporters in 23 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 18th April 2020 we'd raised £396 with 21 supporters in 23 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Orpington CoVid-19 Aid is bringing together volunteers from the community to supporting vulnerable members of our town throughout the crisis. This may take the form of essential shopping, medication collection, dog walking and checking in with lonely and elderly residents.
We need to raise a small 'petty cash' fund to facilitate this; e.g. to pay for the shop/prescription (no more than £30) where the person needing help can't do this online, so that we can keep physical contact to an absolute minimum and reduce the risk of spread. The person can then arrange to repay the money once things are safer or when they can transfer.
At the end of the crisis the group will dis-band and any funds that might be remaining will be donated to another community initiative within Orpington.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see Crowdfunder's Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
