At Oasis Community Hub MediaCityUK we are seeing the impact the cost-of-living emergency is having on many of our families across our community of Ordsall and Langworthy in Salford. Many in our community are finding things tougher than they've ever been, and this is after the struggles of the pandemic over the last few years.
Because of this we want to spread some festive cheer to some of our local families, providing not just essential food supplies but also some Christmas joy.
Through our fantastic team of staff, volunteers, Oasis Academy students and community leaders, we will co-ordinate collecting, making and distributing at least 25 Christmas Hampers to those who need it most.
We will use the money raised to ensure families have essential items and meals, some festive treats and also fun activities to enjoy some family time together.
