To support households and families in need in Winson Green and Handsworth during the COVID-19 virus crisis.

Help Oasis Community Hub: Foundry & Boulton to feed and support households and families in need in the Winson Green and Handsworth communities during the COVID-19 virus crisis.

What we are doing:
Working alongside other community partners, our staff and volunteers are :
a) packing and delivering food parcels for local families in need.
b) delivering family activity packs to support families with their children's education.
c) printing and posting out activity packs to our Youth Group and Wild Life Club members.
With your help, we can expand the service further to assist with gas or electric top ups and other emergency provisions.
At a time of social distancing, this is the easiest way for you to support those in need in Winson Green and Handsworth. Help us with our Crowdfunder so that we can ensure no-one in our local communities goes hungry at this time of crisis.

Background:
At Oasis Community Hub Foundry and Boulton, as we work in an area of high deprivation, tackling food poverty has always been a priority, but in the wake of the COVID-19 virus crisis, there is even more need for this. We re seeking to feed those families in need, but also support them with their education through family resource packs. This will come at increased cost to us. Here at Oasis Community Hub Foundry and Boulton we rapidly scale up our emergency provision in response to this crisis. The current challenge comes in meeting the demands whilst receiving fewer donations. We need your help to keep our services running as in the immediate few weeks and months we focus our efforts on ensuring our local community have access to emergency food parcels so that they do not go hungry.

How you can help:
You could make a donation of whatever you can afford - see below.
You could create your own fundraising page, linked to this one.

Here are some examples of how your donations will be spent:
£13.50 would cover the cost of a week's petrol costs for deliveries.
£30 would cover the cost of a Fare Share food delivery (a week's supply)
£20 would provide a week's Supermarket vouchers for additional items i.e. clothing or nappies.
£27 would cover the cost of 90 family activity packs delivered a week.
£36 would cover the cost of printing and posting out a set of activity packs to our Youth Group and Wild Life Club members.
