OASIS CHILDCARE CENTRES - Children's Charity No 1057410
As part of our fundraising efforts the staff are coming together on Saturday 4th December 2021 to take part in a 30mile fancy dress sponsored bike ride along the Marazion to Penzance bike path.
To minimise risk and support all those involved, staff have chosen to cycle in pairs and will set off from the Station House car park from 9.30am with staggered start times.
The staff would greatly appreciate your support and would encourage children and their families to get fully involved by going for a walk or cycle to give us a wave or cheer along the way. However, your safety is important to us, therefore please be mindful not to gather at any locations along the route to protect yourselves and others from the risk of Covid-19. We look forward to seeing you along the way.
To ensure the children are fully involved in the fundraising process, they have been asked to create a resource and equipment wish list. Please let us assure you that every penny raised will go towards the children's wishes!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Barclay's Bank for supporting us through their Community Aid Package. Especially Karen Whiting (Olivia's mum), a Branch Manager, for taking the time to support us with arranging and organising this event. Barclay's Bank and their staff team have supported our children's charity for many years, and we cannot thank them enough for the joy and new experiences that they have brought to our children. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic we remained open to support many critical key worker children and their families, vulnerable children and their families, and vulnerable people within our local and wider community. We really need you to get behind us and support us!! This is a one-off fundraising opportunity which will have a fundamental impact upon the children, families, and vulnerable people that we continue to support in our local and wider community.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Lands End Cycle Hire for providing the staff with bikes and supporting this event.
Once again, thank you for your ongoing support. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and a healthy New Year!
Best wishes
Lorna Trudgeon (Senior Centre Manager of Oasis Childcare Centre's)
