Thank you for all those who sacrificed their youth for this country. This memorial is a testament to all those who have been ignored by those who seek to erase their contributions. Thanks also to Nubian Jak for being the spearhead to right these wrongs. I appreciate your efforts.

I watched the zoom session with BlackHistory walks and was very impressed, great work.

For every African and Caribbean nurse who gave up their youth to make the NHS what it was a world class service and the envy of the rest of the world. We salute you. In your golden years your sacrifice will be remembered.

My Mother and Aunt were nurses who worked along side Windrush nurses.

So pleased to be supporting this worthy cause of seeing our Black Nurses and Midwives being recognised for their contributions to the NHS.

Wonderful commemoration of African & Caribbean nurses & midwives... who literally were (still are) pillars of the NHS. I was brought into this world by a Windrush nurse over 50 odd yrs ago, and that same nurse brought my child into this world 20 yrs later. Great work Nubian Jak & good luck on reaching the target.
