Healthy Seniors, Healthy Communities
Imagine that quality personalized healthcare at home is again available to everyone, with regular preventative and proactive doctor visits being done daily by enthusiastic GPs in your community.
Sounds like a great idea?
Then welcome to the Healthy Seniors and Healthy Communities Project - a unique initiative by Dr Max Niedzielski, the founder of Novium Clinic, an independent medical practice for patients in West Sussex and Hampshire, where we are on a mission to make healthcare timely and inclusive, focusing especially on the elderly who need it the most. As a Care Quality Commission registered and regulated independent clinic, we can help ease "winter pressures" to the NHS by offering dedicated care visits to those mostly affected by the overburdened public health care system. Contribute to our goal, and watch us provide 1000 (and possibly many more) FREE health care appointments to elderly patients, and thus help us create a robust and lasting community healthcare project for those who we care about the most.
Who We Are?
We are a tiny family-run, independent medical practice, and not a large corporation. We are based in Emsworth, and have another small clinical space in Southampton. Our small team of doctors and nurses divide our time between the NHS, charitable work, and private medical work. We all work full time with the NHS, and plan to continue so. Therefore, this project will be done in addition to the NHS work we do, in the few extra free hours that we can find in our busy schedules.
Disclaimer
The visits offered as part of this project are not a substitute for regular NHS GP care, nor are they intended to be emergency visits in case of urgent need. We are not a 999 or 111 service. In case of an emergency, please dial 999, or attend the nearest Emergency Department.
Why Novium Clinic?
At Novium Clinic, we believe that healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and that public and private care can co-exist seamlessly and efficiently. Our Healthy Seniors and Healthy Communities vision starts with the provision of doctor visits at NO COST to the elderly who need it most. Our mission will continue to provide top-notch medical services at no cost, or at prices everyone can afford, breaking down the financial barriers that often prevent people from receiving the care they deserve.
We understand that the current private healthcare system can be daunting and expensive, especially for our senior citizens, whilst the public healthcare system is often lacking time and resources. That's why we're dedicated to creating a comforting and supportive environment where seniors can receive the care and the attention they need without worrying about the cost.
Proactive, Compassionate Care for Everyone
The Healthy Seniors and Healthy Communities approach to healthcare goes beyond just treating illnesses: we focus on early intervention and continuous monitoring, to keep our patients, and especially the elderly, healthy and out of the hospital. Such prevention has countless benefits, with the most obvious being decreased burden on the hospitals, more time for NHS clinicians to look after others in need, and most importantly, increasing patient and family satisfaction due to preventative care provided at home or in care homes.
As private doctors in a dedicated clinic, we are uniquely positioned to recognize potential health issues before they escalate, helping to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. We also place a strong emphasis on mental health, offering regular check-ins and support to ensure our patients' overall well-being. Moreover, we maintain close communication with public (NHS) healthcare providers (like GPs) to guarantee seamless, coordinated care. This integrated approach ensures that our elderly patients receive comprehensive, continuous care that supports both their physical and mental health.
What We're Already Doing
This fundraiser is to help us expand our already up-and-running program, where we offer a limited number of no-cost visits to elderly patients around West Sussex and Hampshire. In fact, anyone can book an appointment, whether for themselves, or for an older friend or relative. Our current criteria are simple: to qualify for the appointment, a patient needs to be 80 years or older, or 70 years or older with multiple chronic conditions. They can live by themselves, with family, or in care or nursing homes.
To book an appointment, simply visit our webpage and book online, or call or message us at our phone number 03300 433 694.
Our Commitment to Sustainability and Care
At Novium Clinic, we’re committed to making healthcare accessible without compromising our financial sustainability. We generate revenue through a range of paid healthcare services, such as appointments, medical tests and home doctor visits, allowing us to offer top-quality care to those more financially fortunate. A portion of these profits will continue to be reinvested into our Healthy Seniors and Healthy Communities mission, enabling us to provide free healthcare to elderly patients who might otherwise go without. By partnering with community organizations, care homes and agencies, and eventually with governmental partners, by securing grants, and by building a supportive community network, we will ensure that every patient, regardless of their financial situation, receives the compassionate care they need. Our model ensures that while we thrive as a business, we never lose sight of our core mission: to serve those who need us most.
Experienced, Trusted, and Ready to Serve
Novium Clinic is already a small, operational healthcare team, run by experienced doctors with extensive knowledge in elderly care and holistic approaches to medicine. Since opening our doors earlier this year, we have been committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to our patients. We are fully registered and insured, ensuring that everyone receives trusted, high-quality medical services in a safe and welcoming environment. Our team is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of our patients every day.

Our Ambitious Vision
We aim to expand across all of the United Kingdom, establishing Healthy Seniors and Healthy Communities clinical teams in every community so that no one is too far from excellent care. Our goal is to transition from a corporation to a social enterprise, focusing even more on community well-being rather than profit. This transformation will allow us to reinvest our resources into enhancing services, improving facilities, and reaching even more people in need.
How Your Contributions Will Be Used
The funds raised through our campaign will be crucial in helping us run this project as part of the business functions of Novium Clinic. A significant portion of initial funds will be used to schedule and provide up to a thousand or more free healthcare visits to elderly people in need, particularly those in care homes, and those most vulnerable.
We plan to employ additional administrative staff dedicated to the Healthy Seniors and Healthy Communities project, to ensure smooth operations, and provide the best possible experience for our patients. Our new dedicated administrator will be there so that we can coordinate all the appointments as efficiently and as effectively as possible, without conflicts to our current jobs in the NHS.
A part of the funding will be used to pay for the salary expenses associated with this work, such as reasonable doctor wages. We will also invest in small medical equipment, such as portable ECG machines and ultrasound scanners, to enable our team to deliver quality care directly to patients at their homes and care facilities. Additionally, the funds will support Healthy Seniors and Healthy Communities marketing efforts to reach more people in need, and create awareness of our free services in the community. They will help us partly cover some of our day-to-day operating expenses as the project grows and involves more people. A portion of the contributions will also be allocated to funding the exclusive perks we offer to our generous supporters, ensuring that every contribution directly benefits both our clinic, our patients, and our community.
What If We Hit Our £50,000 Target?
Every £50 over our target will let us deliver one more visit to an elderly patient in the community. Imagine if 500 people each contributed £50 over our target? This would mean that we could see 500 MORE vulnerable people this winter, whether they are pensioners, care home residents, or just worried about their health, and help them in their journey to good health. That's 500 fewer potential GP appointments, 500 fewer potential hospital admissions, and 500 fewer concerned families.
Join Us in Making a Difference
We invite you to join us on this exciting journey to reshape the healthcare landscape in the United Kingdom, and then hopefully, across the world. Together, we can make the option of private healthcare affordable (even FREE) and accessible for everyone, ensuring that every person, regardless of age or income, receives the care they deserve and need.
Your support is more than a donation; it is a commitment to changing lives. Let's build a healthier future together.
