We're still collecting donations
On the 3rd December 2020 we'd raised £661 with 21 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

If we surpass our target the extra money will be used to modify our dugout by adding sides etc to protect our supporters during the winter months & bad weather
The crazy bunch at Norton Hockey Club are at it again with another challenge! This time walking/running/cycling/swimming/rowing 2135 miles to try to get from Norton hockey Club to Lapland to help Santa save Christmas & to support Norton Hockey Club during this pandemic.
Due to another lock down the club are trying to raise vital funds so we can continue to implement extra safety measures to protect our members plus if we raise more than our target we will use the money to modify our dugout & add some sides to protect our amazing supporters during the winter weather.
England Hockey's current guidelines (01.11.20) say there will be 'no club or community hockey from 5 November until after 4 December at the earliest' so let's do something we are allowed to do. So the we have decided to walk/run/cycle/swim/row 2135 miles to get to Lapland & will do it over 4 weeks. (limiting cycling to 20miles per person per week)
The Ladies, Men & Juniors (including parents) will be competing against each other to get to reach the target.
During our challenge we will provide regular updates & photo's so supporters can track our sad & lonely social distancing progress along with blood, sweat & tears (& sore bums from cycling).
We would really appreciate any contributions towards our challenge & our project so we can hopefully reach our target. Thank you for your support.
