Northolt Tower Charity Abseil

Aim: I am raising money for Active Change Haringey to support grassroots community groups across Tottenham

On Saturday 21st June I will be abseiling down the 19 storey Northolt Tower on the Broadwater Farm Estate to support local groups that are struggling to find funding in the current climate. Find out more about the community groups in the descriptions below.

If you are around on 21st June and would like to come and watch I will be abseiling between 11-12 midday and would love to see you there.

Active Change Haringey was set up by the Broadwater Farm Project Team. It is nearing its £15K target, which will then receive match funding to keep the following projects running to serve their local communities.

• Project 2020 Hub offers local youths a music studio, training and facilities on the Northumberland Park Estate
• A new street gym in Northumberland Park by Raza Sana in a bid to “combat crime and improve community health”
• Haringey Play Association offering free use of the Somerford Grove Adventure Playground
• Moselle Community Project holds drop-in community-led meals, arts and crafts at the Broadwater Farm Community Centre
