Help fund Chloe-Louise Reilly's Mayoral Campaign

by Simon Richard Smithson in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom

As the Green Party’s candidate for North Tyneside Mayor, Chloe-Louise Reilly is committed to delivering real change for our community. But to run a fair and effective campaign, we need your support.

The Green Party doesn't have big sponsors or corporate backing - our campaigns rely entirely on the support of local people who care about building a fairer, greener future. (That's you!)

We are aiming to raise £1,500 to cover the essential costs of the campaign, which will directly contribute to giving the people of North Tyneside a strong, fair voice in the upcoming election.

Here’s how your donation will help:

• Deposit: The mayoral election requires a £500 deposit to stand as a candidate. This ensures we can formally participate and have our ideas represented in the election process. If we achieve atleast 5% of the vote, we are able to keep our deposit and put this into our future campaigns and activities.

• Campaign literature: A professional, informative page within the NTC booklet will be produced and distributed to local voters. This will outline Chloe’s key policies, values, and plans to ensure a greener, more democratic North Tyneside. In the last mayoral election (2021), this cost £750 but we are yet to have a confirmed cost for 2025.

• Printing and other election costs: These funds will cover additional printing costs for leaflets, posters, and materials for outreach, as well as any unexpected campaign expenses. Any funds not used during the election period will go into the local party pot to support future campaigns.

Important Information About Donations

This crowdfunder is exclusively for campaign expenses, meaning donations fall under Electoral Commission rules, even before the official regulated period begins (March 25th).

• Donations under £50: We still need to collect basic details, but you won’t need to be verified as a registered elector, and your details won’t be published.

Donations of £50 or more: We are legally required to verify that you’re a UK-registered elector, record your details, and report the donation to the Electoral Commission. Your name may also need to be included in our election spending return. Please make sure you include a working contact when submitting your donation, thank you!

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real impact. Your support ensures that Chloe’s message reaches as many people as possible and that we can run a fair, community-driven campaign.

Together, we can make North Tyneside a better place for everyone. Thank you for being part of this movement for real, positive change.

Donate now and help us reach our goal!
