We are 6 months away from electing our first ever Green councillors in North East Derbyshire, Chesterfield and Bolsover!
This is a really exciting time but we need your help to secure these victories.
People want to vote Green but have been told by the other parties that doing so is a waste. We have to combat this messaging by working really hard on a local level. This takes year round newsletters delivered to every household and continual surveying of residents.
It takes a lot of effort but it works.
This method of campaigning is responsible for all the Green Gains that flash up on our TVs at election time. This style of campaigning and getting our message across is expensive however. We spend about £120 on newsletters every other month in our target wards, and at election time these deliveries become even more frequent. We need £2,000 to make sure that we can deliver good campaigns in our target wards, and ultimately get our first Greens elected!
Unlike the other major parties we do not receive funding from Trade Unions or large corporations which means we are free to speak up for you. We do therefore rely on supporters like you providing small donations.
