My name is Adam Castledine and I want better smelling armpits.
I also think armpits have been fairly harshly treated for quite some time.
So - to rephrase - my name is Adam Castledine and I care about armpits.
…and I have decided to do something about it all. I have created my own deodorant. Lo and behold, it actually works to the point where I have decided to call it 'NOBO' because that is exactly what it does...ensures that there isn't any BO when you use it.
The world is tantalising close to an environment where armpits can smell that much better.
Armpits can be happy again.
It’s still ‘can be…’ though.
So, I now need your support to make it happen:
- I want to manufacture a product that actually works in the deodorant world
- I want to make it vegan and 100% natural
- I want to ensure it is plastic free, contains no crap [SLS, Parabens, Aluminium etc]
- I want to house it in ecologically sound packaging
LOOKS LIKE NOBO ALREADY EXISTS TO ME
It sure does - check us/it out via www.nobo.today. NOBO has been ALIVE since late 2020. Still, NOBO was always formed on the idea delivering a kick ass deodorant. Covid messed that up and delayed everything beyond comprehension. So, some initial - far easier to release - products were launched first. They're really quite good and support the wider mission of making the world smell better. Still, it hasn't made NOBO as well known as the Body Shop, Aesop or...well, an established brand yet which is why I am launching this crowdfunder to facilitate pre-orders.
HOW AM I SPENDING THE MONEY RAISED?
To create and manufacture the product. To get it into your hands and latterly onto your armpits.
The formulation is completed and gone through all of the relevant acronym testing requirements - CPSR, CPNP, PIFS. Simply put it isn’t about to grow legs, run off or talk back to you in a suspicious accent.
SO WHY AM I USING CROWDFUNDER TO DO THIS?
Well, I have a minimum order requirement with the various suppliers and I cannot fund this upfront. Covid - and more - has shed all available funds from me to do so and the risk is too great. So I’m basically asking for an upfront order to minimise my risk and make your armpits smell better.
