No North Chingford High Rise Campaign

We need your help to fight against the proposed development of 40 flats on the North Chingford Assembly Hall and Library,  that will totally change the character of the area for the worse and set a precedent for further high rise buildings.

Over 2500 local residents have signed our petition but with your help, we can reach many more.

Your donation will go towards the cost of leaflets, letters and social media advertisements. This will help us make more and more residents aware of our campaign.

A building of 40 units will undoubtedly have to be high rise, and out of keeping with the rest of the Chingford Green area which is mostly two and three storeys.

Not only will the proposed new flats increase pressure on already stretched local infrastructure (Schools, Doctors, utilities etc), we suspect it will have no parking for new residents, so the wider community will once again bear the brunt of the consequences of over-development.
