Aim: The aim of the project is to set up a company jobs and training for people with disabilities who get over looked for jobs and training

Hi my names Joseph Davison I’m a 38 year old gay male who is a Perminant wheelchair user with cereable palsy I’ve been in the event and security industry for over 20 years my experiance is that allot of company’s don’t look past the disabled persons disability or additional needs they don’t Evan bother looking at there individual abilities so we get over looked for jobs and any training within our chosen field of work and I am very aware of the reasonable adjustments companies and employers have a legal responsibility to put in place however my personal experience is that they can’t be bothered with all the read tape that comes with it so I’ve set up this crowed funding to tackle this and knock down the barriers and stigma that goes with it because believe it or not the majority of disabled people that are able to work want to work and feel vauled in society so the main aims of this project is as follows

provide jobs and training opertunities for anyone struggling to find work because of there disability and not there ability to the job that they want to do

To break down and tackle those barriers and help and support anyone threw there employment or training weather that’s with my company or other providers that are willing to work with us

To work towards putting those reasonable adjustments in place anyone needs to do the job and contribute to society in anyway they can

Help combat the stress and anxiety that comes with there disability like social isolation etc

Within my own company we aim to provide a disability friendly enviroment and workforce no matter what a persons background disability race gender believes sexual preferences are we believe and want to create a place where anyone feels like they can support and contribute to society in a positive way we believe in ability and not inability we also champion equality and diversity

The current projects we have in the planing stage at the moments are our own clothing range called Aio clothing range on Facebook we are looking to also grow our food truck trailer idea so we can take on events make money but also provide quality meals for the public and our staff at reasonable prices we also aim to promote and grow our own retail health and wellbeing section for those that are like me who are sports and fitness mad I go to the gym I’m also a qualified medic work in security and i currently play for the hull kr foundations wheelchair rugby league team and im also a qualified referee for the wheelchair rugby I have personally made that statement to show it I can do it anyone can do it no matter what there facing in life we will support you in every aspect of getting your dream job and will provide every opportunity possible that’s available to us and if it’s not available we will work with you to try and make it happen the pheonix in our logo represents the spirit within us all no matter what you face in life all we ask is that you have the believe and can do attitude and we rise above the ashes and prove to people we are human beings with special additional needs and finally any money raised in this project will be documented at every use where people will see the positive ways its being used any surplus funds will also be used to raise money for my wheelchair for team and help raise funds for the local soup kitchens like when we get our food trailer and truck going we aim to support the soup kitchens in way of free hot food support and welfare services so any donations or funding recieved will be appriciated in every way and will be used in projects described and not for personal gain much love jd out
