We are excited to announce that on Monday 28th April 2025, Nine Mile Ride Primary School are hosting our own TCS Mini London Marathon for all pupils and staff. This event is designed to promote health, fitness and school spirit whilst raising funds for much needed new PE and Sports equipment.
The Mini London Marathon course will be set around our school grounds. Those that wish to, can run the full 2.6 miles individually, others can complete the run/jog/walk as a pair, group or class.
For example; 2 children running together complete 1.3 miles, giving the total of 2.6 required.
This may look different for the younger age groups and class teachers will adapt as necessary.
We have had fantastic successes in our cross country running this year and thought this would be a great event to encourage and promote others to get outdoors and go for a run/walk.
To make this event a success, we invite parents and families to sponsor their children’s participation.
