Newton Ferrers PTFA - Help build a 'Forest School'

Your funding will help create a 'Forest School' structure which will offer children shelter without being enclosed and a free space to explore nature. 

The 'Forest School' concept has shown to foster children's problem solving and co-operation, as well as building confidence and self-esteem.  The children have been enjoying forest school but for a limited time only, often due to weather. 

The new structure will be perfect to support all aspects of the curriculum and offer an opportunity to learn in a very different environment offering flexibility and improved well-being for staff and children, as one child said,  "It will be a calmer environment outside for us to work in."

The PTFA cake bakes weren’t allowed this year. So, we’ve teamed up with our very generous local businesses and friends to bring you the PTFA Big Christmas Raffle on Saturday December 19th. We can build on the support awarded to us by Yealm Community Energy and make this happen.

To buy a ticket, you can use the rewards boxes, where £5 = 5 raffle tickets, £10 = 10 raffle tickets and so on. Please add your email/home address when pledging so that we can contact you with the good news if you have won.
