Please help us to purchase new equipment

Aim: We would like to raise enough money to purchase our own specialist netball equipment for use at the club.

Who we are

We are a community netball team based in Duffryn, Newport. We are a non-profit club run by volunteers. The club was founded in 2021 after identifying a need for a safe, affordable provision for girls in the local area to play netball. We have expanded rapidly, and now have 3 junior teams, 3 adult teams and an over 18s social team.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Newport West Netball Club is now in a position where we would like to purchase our own equipment, for sole use within the club. This would enable our members to train and develop using good quality, specialist equipment. Through crowdfunding support, we would be grateful for contributions towards netballs, stick on bibs, cones, whistles and ball pumps. Any extra money would also be used to support our  volunteers to attend umpiring and coaching courses.

How we’ll spend the money raised

10 netballs (£10 each)

3 sets of stick on bibs (£25 each) 

3 sets of cones (£9.95 each)

3 sets of agility spots (£17 each)

6 squeezy whistles (£15 for 2)

Community

Newport West welcomes members of all ages and abilities, providing opportunities for girls and women to play recreational or competitive netball. We serve the community of Duffryn and neighbouring areas.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
