Help Us Create a Warmer, Greener, More Welcoming Space for Mental Health Support

At Wellspring Scotland, we believe that healing happens not just through words—but through environment, safety, and care.

For over four decades, our building in Leith has been a haven for individuals seeking support through counselling and psychotherapy. But while the work happening inside our rooms transforms lives, the building itself is in urgent need of care—starting with our windows.

Many of the windows in our historic premises are outdated, draughty and energy-inefficient. In the winter, therapy rooms become uncomfortably cold. In the summer, they overheat. This impacts our clients—some of whom are at their most vulnerable—and increases our energy bills at a time when every penny counts.

We are launching a vital fundraising appeal to replace these ageing windows with energy-efficient ones. This upgrade will:

Create a warmer, more welcoming therapeutic space for clients and therapists alike.

Support our sustainability goals by significantly reducing CO₂ emissions.

Lower our energy bills, allowing more resources to go directly to frontline mental health support.
