My wheelchair is now 10 years old and it needs replacing. NHS are happy to give me a new wheelchair.

The wheelchair will have specialist seating to sit me up strighter. The NHS will be paying most of the cost toward my wheelchair. However, I need to come up with some of the cost for the special upgrades I need to to keep me doing what I love. Being out and about, rolling across fields and woods. And to do what I really want and train dogs.

The money will be given to NHS wheelchair services for the following:
1) Upgrades suspension to of terrain suspension.
2) add lights to my wheelchair
3) Extra seating covers for my wheelchair. X2
4) Serving and repair costs of the suspension and lights for the life of the wheelchair.
The Specialist wheelchair OT who assessed my needs agrees the all Terian Suspension and lights would be good for me and my lifestyle, as well as for my safety. However the NHS do not fund these.

Hence why I am asking for help. So I can continue to do the things I love. I have taken into account that this will allow me to do my dream volunteer work I wish to do. To train Shelter dogs to be assistance dogs, support or emotional support dogs, depending on their abilities.
I would be very grateful if all and any help people can give me. To get me going in my new wheelchair. So I can continue living independently and start my journey to help others to have fabulous assistance dogs like the girl I have.

I am a disabled lady with multiple disabilities, I determined and love animals. I want to train shelter dogs to give to disabled people to help the dogs have a second chance at life and give the disabled and elderly new hope and freedom. To do this. I need some help. So I have set up this page.
I am truly grateful for your support. Any money over my target will go towards me training a shelter dog to be given to another disabled or elderly person.
