2nd Bude Jacobstow Scout group is such a valuable organisation for the local young people in this area, Ben loves cubs and looks forward to the weekly meetings, so it is essential that they have a base for their meetings.

Good luck with your project, this is such a worthy cause. The scouts, cubs and beavers have always had a base at wainhouse corner and so many youngsters have benefitted hugely from being a member, gaining skills essential for their future professions.Medland family, Trengune

2nd Bude (Jacobtsow) Scout Group is lead by a dedicated team, working hard & giving up their time to provide young people with skills & outdoor activities. My children have been involved through out Beavers, Cubs & Scouts. The oldest is now taking further education in outdoor adventure, which has come from his love of Scouting. I wish this worth while project every success, allowing more young people opportunities for the next 50 years.

I was a Scout as a child and gained so much. It developed my love of the outdoors staying fit and as quite a shy young person opened my eyes to what the world has to offer if you stand up and grasp it. It taught me to repeat others and offer help and support to those who need it. A small token of my gratitude. My two sons have been Beavers Cubs and now Scouts and this unit in Cornwall has offered all those things that were offered to me. I wish you all the best and hope this project can carry on offering the great things Scouts provides in the future for many more young peoples
