Many thanks for all your efforts against centralising everything at Watford General. For environmental reasons I gave up my car a few years ago which means that getting to that hospital by public transport ain't easy. It requires multiple changes of bu/train and some walking. And trying to do that on a match day is just impossible.

Lets drag the hospital services in West Herts kicking and screaming into the 21century.

I believe Watford is too crowded. I spent 5 days there bit it was too busy for the medical team to really understand what was wrong with me. I'm still not great 8 months later. Even the car park is a nightmare and so hilly. An A&E in the Hemel area will relieve the pressure from Watford. With all the new builds around Hemel we really do need this extra A&E

A new standalone hospital to serve the 3 towns would be so much more efficient than patching up a rambling out of date site on the side of a steep hill and next to a major football club. The existing land in each town could then be sold for housing, probably making enough to pay for the new hospital.

Great to see everybody getting behind this.

The A&E Department in Watford Hospital is the very worst location to get to in an emergency. And if a Football game is on you'll be dead before you get anywhere near it. Accessibility should be a priority - ideally right next to the M1

Let commonsense prevail to build a new hospital rather than trying to upgrade an outdated Victorian one!

Hemel Hempstead is the second largest town in the whole of Hertfordshire & we don't have our own A & E provision. This in turn creates overcrowding in Watford hospital to a highly dangerous level. Our A & E Dept should never have been lost.

This is something we all really need.

this fight has been going on for years and no one listens.

The people of Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas have been treated extremely badly by whoever makes the decisions on hospital funding. To keep pouring money into Watford General, an out of date, overcrowded, building, with impossible access and parking, is a disgrace. Who are the people making decisions on our behalf, I haven’t voted for them?

A last chance to undo the terrible sequence of decisions that has left most of West Herts without reasonable hospital services.
