The Team
Vince - CEO, Head of Marketing
Flowlosopha - COO, Creative Director
Psygon - Business Operations Manager
How It Started
Many years ago, Vince went through the rather unfortunate trauma of her recording studio burning down. All the equipment, all the furniture and even the building itself, gone. Left with nowhere to record, she began looking for somewhere she could record the remainder of her project, which is when she met Flowlosopha and later Psygon.
Nearly 10 years, multiple studio set ups and many bumps in the road later, we found ourselves in the similar predicament, the studio we knew and loved was no more and we had to rebuild and start afresh once again. With commitment, hard work, and help from Vince's Dad, we did just that!
The Problem
Despite the abundance of talent in our area, we observed a glaring absence of spaces where alternative artists could showcase their work and connect with like-minded individuals. Many budding creatives felt excluded, lacking the resources and support needed to thrive.
The Solution
Driven by the desire to address these challenges head-on, we founded New Future Creatives. We envisioned a community of artists in which all backgrounds and skill levels are not only welcomed but actively supported and encouraged to flourish.
More Than a Physical Space
Drawing on our professional backgrounds and connections, we take a novel approach to merging the worlds of independent music and marketing. Working with businesses, crafting unique marketing campaigns that elevate brands and provide a platform for emerging talent to shine.
We recognise the multifaceted nature of the creative industry and seek to empower individuals across various career paths. From managers and bloggers to graphic designers and event coordinators, New Future Creatives is a hub for collaboration and growth, offering mentorship, networking opportunities, and practical experience.
Our Aims
New Future Creatives aims to provide experience & guidance in all aspects of the music industry, not just the creation of music but everything involved in taking an idea and making it a functioning reality. Through our unique approach, we continue to break down barriers, create connections, and pave the way for the future.
Feeling constrained by traditional structures and profit-driven motives we’d experienced in other organisations, we decided to break away and forge our path. We aim to build a community-focused organisation that prioritises inclusivity, support, and genuine connection.
Embracing our independence, we set out to create a space where creativity could thrive organically, free from the constraints of corporate agendas. This decision wasn't merely about starting a new venture but about reclaiming our passion for creativity and empowering others to do the same. New Future Creatives is more than just a brand—it's a movement! Driven by our shared desire to uplift and celebrate the diverse voices within the creative industry.
Artist Testimonials:
Leighton Tongue (Singer/Songwriter)
When I met Flowlosopha and Vince, I was a cover singer with aspirations to start recording my songs but had no means to do so. New Future Creatives has provided me with a judgment-free environment to express my passion for songwriting and explore my ability.
Flow and Vince make studio time feel like you’re popping over to a friend’s house to experiment freely but with professional advice and support with all things musical. There is always such a buzz around the place and the artists are always sharing their works in progress with others, looking to gain and give advice equally. With so many styles of music floating around these days Flow can mold a sound that is unique to each artist without putting anyone in a certain lane. The knowledge and advice that I have received have been priceless and I’d like to say a massive thank you to everybody at New Future Creatives!
Wynter Black (Singer, Songwriter, DJ)
I worked on the 1995 project with Flowlosopha and was so impressed with all the facilities. The studio was fully equipped, spacious, and comfortable making for the perfect place to write and record a song. The booth is also spacious and separate enough from the engineering room to be able to write in if you want a little alone time. I switched the light off and sat writing in there at some stages.
Working with the NFC was a pleasure, Flow engineered for us and gave great input on the production and recording side and catered to my needs as a vocalist to ensure I was set up to get the best out of recording.
Everyone from NFC is so positive and encouraging, it helped create a workable vibe which is so crucial to a creative as I’m sure any creative reading this will understand.
I was also really happy with the final mix of the song and it was completed and sent to us with the short turnaround time we asked for to make the release deadline we had for the project. No delays, no long waiting times, great communication, and an all round smooth, professional, and positive process. I will 100% be making New Future Creatives my home for recording any more of my future projects.
JWhale (Rapper/Producer)
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Flowlosopha several times and have always found it a comfortable, collaborative, and creative experience! Flow cares about the process and bringing your creative vision to life! Never one to discourage a risk or experimentation, Flow has helped me many times to push my creative boundaries while simultaneously helping me arrive at a professional and quality result! As an artist himself, he approaches the process from an angle unlike most and that makes him so fun to work with. A top professional but also, a top bloke!
Marketing Case Studies:
Denecae Dunlop (Marketing Assistant)
Denecae's journey with New Future Creatives epitomizes from a marketing assistant to a confident event planner. Initially joining the organisation in a different capacity, Denecae's immersion into the area of event planning unearthed her passion for events. Crafting unique experiences became not just tasks, but avenues for personal fulfillment and professional growth. Under the guidance of New Future Creatives, Denecae honed skills, acquired invaluable references, and ultimately ascended to prominent roles as head of events at large nightlife venues. This journey is a testament to the power of passion, mentorship, and seizing opportunities. New Future Creatives is as a nurturing ground for talent and career advancement in the events industry.
High Nelson (Rapper/PR Assistant)
High Nelson, originating from New York City, came to the UK to promote his unique sound and crossed paths with New Future Creatives. After forging an organic genuine connection through making music in the studio High Nelson became a close collaborator of the group. Through working together on his releases New Future noticed his skill in writing and distributing Press Releases. High Nelson then began writing releases for fellow artists and events clients and continues to collaborate with the New Future in this way. Adding this extra skill and service opens up new avenues where High Nelson's skills as a writer can serve him in his wider career as he builds his music audience.
New Future challenges creatives to think outside the box when it comes to their skills. Financial challenges have long existed in the creative industry. We seek to dismantle the notion of the 'starving creative' by utilising our skills in as many ways as possible, and by tapping into other industries that can benefit from our talents.
