Aim: Raise funds for a new (much needed) Double Mini Trampoline.

Who are we?

Axis Trampoline and Gymnastics Club (based in Bedminster) is a not-for-profit community-based club whose purpose is to get as many people in the community from pre-school through to adults involved in our full range of fantastic gymnastics disciplines, promoting both participation and fun at all levels.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are hoping to raise the money to buy a brand new Double Mini Trampoline. Our current DMT is nine years old, with frayed webbing, tired springs, a bent frame and sometimes minus a leg!

This is tricky enough for recreational use, but it's particularly hard for us to give our gymnasts a fair chance at competitions. Bouncier trampolines mean the gymnasts can jump higher and therefore have more chance of achieving harder skills.

Our gymnasts are really noticing the difference between the bounciness of our DMT and those at the competitions they enter.

A new DMT costs in the region of £5,000 which is simply beyond the reach of our not-for-profit organisation. However, our gymnasts and their coaches are incredibly driven to raise the money through fundraising and really hope you'll be able to support their efforts.

How we’ll spend the money raised

All thew money raised will be put directly towards buying a brand new competition-standards DMT.

Community impact

Our club prides itself on getting as many people in the community, from toddler to adult, with all ranges of abilities and needs, into the wide range of gymnastics we offer. We aim to be a welcoming, supportive and friendly space, helping gymnasts keep physically and mentally well.

Just over two years ago there were only four gymnasts doing DMT at Axis and now there are forty five! We can only sustain, and hopefully increase this level of participation if we have a new trampoline for the gymnasts to use.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
