In memory of my mum

Aim: Raising funds in memory of my mum to help people over in Bangladesh

Hello my name is Sazia and I am fundraising for my mum.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

My mum was suffering from heart failure and she either had liver cancer or leukemia although it was not diagnosed at the time but she had all the symptoms loss of appetite, upper abdominal pain, hair was falling too , fatigue, frequent infections, easy bruising or bleeding.

Previously she had breast cancer and went through chemotherapy and radiation. She was given all clear in 2011.

But then since 2023 she started having some issues but doctors couldn't find anything with blood test.

She was suffering with her heart for years but last year it was worse. She was having trouble breathing and her legs were so swollen no water tablet was working.

In August 2024 she got admitted in the Royal Liverpool Hospital regarding her heart. As I took her to the doctors they done some test and for the first time spoke to me about DNR Form and I knew she wasn't okay at all.

She was in hospital for a month and in that month she had two near death experience.

Doctors did tell me that her heart can stop anytime, especially in her sleep.

She was always such a happy person even in that situation she was laughing with me, talking to me, watching her YouTube videos.

Once she can't home things got worse. She lost all strength on her legs, couldn't even get up to go bathroom.

I was looking after her full time making sure she was okay. It wasn't easy as when a body gives up and hard to lift that person each time for toilet, bathing and changing clothes.

She was sleeping a lot, sometimes didn't know where she was and used to mumble in her sleep.

I took the decision to send her back to Bangladesh with dad as there was family and extra help.

She went there in October 22nd 2024. She was okay for 2 weeks and then she started saying her stomach was burning up, her throat was swollen and she got pains all inside her body.

Then test was done again nothing been found.

By November she wasn't eating much at all, couldn't take medicine, completely was bed bound and screaming in pain always.

Christmas Eve she called me to say I don't think I will here anymore I miss you and sad that can't see you. Then Christmas morning I got a phone call from Bangladesh to say mum passed away in her sleep.

I am raising this fund for my mum and want to help people in Bangladesh, people who don't have anyone or any help in life. In honor of my mum I will be donating this money away in Bangladesh to help people in need.
