"Welcome to our charity, where we are dedicated to alleviating food insecurity in our community. Through our distribution and emergency food bank services, we provide essential food items, including special dietary options, to six local food banks in Wolverhampton. Each week, we strive to support approximately 1,200 individuals, ensuring that no one goes hungry. Our partner food banks rely on our commitment and resources, as they lack the means to collect donations independently. Together, we are making a meaningful impact and fostering a community where everyone has access to the nourishment they need."

Our charity established a food bank in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and for the past four years, we have continued to serve disadvantaged individuals of all ages, genders, religions, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds in the city of Wolverhampton. We have successfully provided hundreds of food parcels during this time.
In addition, we operate a Special Dietary Food Bank that caters specifically to those with food allergies and intolerances. We maintain a small database of individuals and families to whom we regularly deliver food parcels.
Our dedicated team of eight volunteers has worked tirelessly to make our project a success. They have devoted extensive hours to ensure we reach community members who have faced financial hardship due to the cost-of-living crisis.
We are proud to have received grants from the Heart of England Community Foundation, The National Lottery Community Fund, West Midlands Police & Crime Commissioner, and Arnold Clark. We are also grateful for the support of The Rotary Club of Wolverhampton, The Wolves Foundation, Warburtons, and local businesses that contribute food donations.
Our team manages the collection of donations and the distribution of food, toiletries, household items, furniture, and white goods, along with the administration and overall management of the food bank. Formerly known as Nishkam Divine Service, our charity was nominated for the King's Award for Voluntary Service in 2023.
The funds we raise are allocated for purchasing food supplies and we urgently need a van that is essential for us to continue supporting our community. Our charity van is non-repairable so, cannot be used.
Currently, our charity supports approximately 1,200 individuals per week, and we are committed to sustaining our food bank. We have been running this project for over four years, and our partners rely on our support as they have no other means of collecting donations.
Thank you for your support and attention to our mission.
