Raising money for Charlton Farm Hospice in order to make a difference in children's lives.

With this extra money we will be able to buy more toys or give the Hospice a lump sum towards the future of their hospice.
To make our project achievable we have a goal to raise £150 so that we are able to buy toys for the children in the hospice. As a group we feel like this is a realistic goal that can be reached but also creates a challenge for us. Obviously if we raise anymore than £150 the children at the hospice will benefit massively because it means that there will be more toys and games for them.
On Wednesday 9th August we plan on going to Charlton Farm Hospice in the West of Bristol. Charlton Farm has been converted from old farm buildings and barns, but with the rooms inside fully equipped for the children. The children have full access to their favourite toys, games and DVDs. As well as this, there is playrooms, teenager rooms only, a spa bath for relieving stiff joints and muscle spasms, a sensory room for chilling out and a soft play area for safe, trouble- free fun.
We have chosen to visit this childrens hospice in order to enlighten the childrens moods and give them a new face to socialise with. We also wish break down barriers of the public and the children in the hospice. Once we have completed the project we are hoping that attitudes towards hospices will have changed and the public will be more educated on the life in a hospice . We will know that our project has been a success when we have witnessed the smiles and laughter of the children in the hospice as well as the feeling of reward once we have left.
