Memory Making

Aim: To raise money to improve the educational environment and opportunities for all students.

Thank you for taking the time to visit the North Cambridge Academy (NCA) fundraising page. The Academy prides itself on the wide range of opportunities that it provides for learners to experience quality enrichment and learning outside of the classroom to build their cultural capital. The Academy serves a large number of students (over 50%) who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds; however, we feel it is crucial that all students have access to the same wonderful life opportunities, which includes an enriching environment and adequate resources.

Therefore, we are asking for your support to help improve our building and provide funds for ‘memory making’ experiences for all of our students to help them develop key life skills and become well-rounded, happy and successful citizens. To ensure that all students can access multiple learning opportunities, both inside and outside of the classroom in a welcoming and well-equipped environment, we are asking for donations to help fund the updating of key spaces including our school Library.  Additionally, we are asking for support to provide a range of funded local, national and international trips and visits, bespoke education (such as water safety or community languages, etc..) and extra-curricular enrichment opportunities (e.g. rowing, DofE, etc..) for our disadvantaged cohort.

We appreciate that we are living in a difficult financial climate, however, every donation, no matter how small, will be used to directly support students to feel nurtured in an engaging environment and access memory-making activities and initiatives. Please donate whatever you can.

We would also like to keep our donors up to date with the opportunities that the students access through the funding and will therefore ensure our NCA Magazine, Family Bulletin and social media is kept up to date for you to see.
