A placement to further my degree

I am in my second year at Salford uni, on a Sports Reabilitation course
when our course was told we could apply in November to go to Florida in the summer of 2025, to be a part of a 5 week placement, I was so excited. Only 6 places out of 40 of us on the course. We found out who had been chosen after a lengthy process of cvs and videos and application forms.
we were told on feb1st and the American tutors informed us that we would need to pay for accommodation, flights and 50-100 dollars a day to fund ourselves. I have a student loan and have found some work leading up to when we fly out but need to find a lot more than I anticipated.
this is going to be a fantastic experience and if you could help in anyway so I can fulfil this part of my course I would be grateful.
