On Thursday my car died. My child has asd and its a 90 minute walk to school and its freezing cold outside.
My car has an electrical fault it wont turn on it wont lock, it has an air leak, among other things, like the boot wont open. It will cost around £1000 to fix and i have been told to get a new car
My son is very upset that he didnt get to see the Christmas lights, we have missed santa twice now and he truly thinks Christmas is ruined.
i have no family to help me, i cant get a loan and i cant get finance he wont get on a bus or another form of transportation because he has a fear of transportation germs, there are no autistic charities that help, it was suggested to me on facebook to start this.
i am honestly lost i have no idea what to do. If my son has more than 5 days Off school we will be fined but when hes calm hes amazing! He started off in reception having meltdowns every day. And now hes sitting his sats a page at a time and on his mock sats he got 98% i support him in every way i can and i am so proud of how far he has come and i am so disappointed in myself that i feel like Christmas is ruined because the car will not turn on.
