The service provides opportunities for performance and showcasing talent, allowing young people to express themselves creatively and gain confidence in their abilities. This is not just about learning to play an instrument or sing, but about using music for personal growth and development. We aim to serve the community directly, through local authorities and youth offenders teams, reaching out to young people who would otherwise be engaging in anti-social behaviours. The service promotes teamwork and collaboration through group activities. These activities are designed to foster a sense of community and mutual respect among participants, as they work together to create music. The end goal is not just to produce talented musicians, but to help young people develop skills and attitudes that will benefit them in all areas of life.
Our community-based projects serve the community directly, via our alternative provision which offers young people who are struggling with the education system, providing an alternative approach to engaging in education.
All funds raised will go towards projects that help the community directly, we are in the process of building a mobile recording studio that we aim to make available to areas of deprivation to work against anti-social behaviours.
