Your support makes a difference
Aim: Raising funds for secure fencing to keep our Forest School site safe for the children in our care, protected from trespass or damage.
At Nature Wild, we champion nature play and its vital role in supporting learning, wellbeing and environmental awareness. We believe children thrive when they are free to grow at their own pace and in their own way. Through inclusive, hands-on experiences, we empower children to connect with nature and become confident, caring learners with a lifelong love for the great outdoors.
We are currently developing a dedicated Forest School site at a local primary school—an area of approximately 850 sqm. With the help of volunteers, natural offcuts from local tree surgeons and even conservation grazing, the space will be transformed. However, we still need to raise funds to remove the old fencing and install secure, appropriate fencing to keep the site safe, protect our equipment overnight and prevent damage or vandalism - which many Forest Schools sadly experience.
We plan to start sessions in September 2025, delivering programmes to the school alongside wraparound care such as after-school and holiday clubs, plus open days for the local community. We believe this project will greatly benefit both the school and neighbouring residents, who have eagerly anticipated a nature space for the school and a pleasant view for their homes.
We would deeply appreciate any support in helping us build this dream Forest School—a safe, welcoming space where children can explore freely and connect with the outdoors. Your funding will bring us closer to creating a thriving natural environment which benefits children and the wider community.
