Mountain Rescue Swaledale - Home Ed Hike

Aim: Richmond Home Educators hike Roseberry Topping for Swaledale Mountain Rescue.
Hi! We are a North Yorkshire based home education group raising money for the amazing charity that is Mountain Rescue.
We recently visited Swaledale Mountain Rescue, where a team of volunteers spent 4 hours getting stuck in with 20 of our children, teaching them about what, why, and how they do the work they do.
Being a charity relying solely on donations, we are doing a sponsored hike on Fremington Edge to raise money for them. This is a challenging 11km route, and we have children as young as 3 years old, and as old as 14 that will be pushing through this adventure, all for the benefit of helping to fund rescue equipment, vehicles, and other necessities.
