We're still collecting donations

Moving on After Workplace Bullying

After my workplace bullying experience, I really struggled to get back to work.  I was emotionally exhausted, and that had taken its toll on my physical health too. I could never have anticipated the damage that the experience would do, and how long it would take to recover.  That also meant that I didn't feel able to work for a long time, which resulted in having to sell some treasured possessions, and later, our beautiful home, and move to somewhere much smaller.  However, I know that I was also lucky to find the support that I needed to be able to move on - eventually.

I now have a coaching business, and wanted to help prevent this from happening to anyone else, so I set up training programmes and coaching for businesses. However, the people who need me the most are the ones who have lost, or walked away from, their jobs as a result of bullying, and now struggle with confidence, self esteem and self belief.  They are most likely still feeling angry and a huge sense of injustice.  They're not in a financial position to be able get the help they need when they need it the most. I'd love to help everyone, but it's not possible at the moment.

That's why I am moving this work into a not for profit model, part of the Conduct Change project, and I am asking for your help to provide support for the people who need it now. By raising funds, I will be able to offer a face to face Moving On programme for people in the Harrogate area, or via Zoom for those further afield. Longer term, I will also develop online courses to extend the reach, and also want to train more coaches in thie area of work.

Please help...

I already have a group of people who need my help, but can't afford it.  If you are in a position to support them, then please donate today.  I never believed that this could happen to me, but it did.  Maybe you're one of those people, and you're back in work and would like to help someone else.  Maybe you can pay it forward - you never know what's around the corner. Longer term, the plan is that through helping people back to their confident self, they will be able to return to work, and donate towards the next person coming through.

If you need help yourself and just want to find out more at this stage, please get in touch through my website

Here's what one of my previous coaching clients said about me:

"Nicki helped me overcome a past work-bullying experience through asking me simple questions that made me turn a negative experience into a positive one. She is definitely the Guru in Bullying at Work and how to avoid it and deal with it, whether as a management team or as an employee. Thank you Nicki for all the brilliant help you gave me"
