Move Me is an award winning ten minute screenplay following two people, Theo and Harriet, as they live out of the back of their car along the Cornish coast. However, the more time they spend together, they begin to realise this may not be the lives they envisioned for themselves.
We are trying to raise the money to bring this screen play to life!
How the budget will be used (estimated):
- £100 for locations
- £150 for petrol
- £75 for set pieces, costumes and props
- £100 for food/water and set essentials
- £100 for festivals/distribution
Any remaining budget will go towards music licensing fees and other post production areas.
About the writer/director:
I, Mari Davies, am a twenty-one year old screen writer and director from South Wales. I am currently a third year student at Falmouth University studying a BA(hons) in film. So far I've had some success in screen writing. My short script, Dear Emilia, has been selected in the Berlin Lift-Off Film festival and has been nominated for Best Un-Produced Screenplay in the International Film Festival of Wales 2024 (results pending). My other project, Day in, Day out, has been nominated for Best Screenplay in the Short film/TV pilot category at the Birmingham Film Festival 2024 (results pending). This will be my first time directing a short film and so I'm excited to finally get to see my writing come to life on screen.
I'm really thankful to my fantastic crew, for helping with my vision, and to anyone who is able to donate and help out with the project.
