The Winter Walk serves as both a physical and symbolic journey towards promoting mental well-being. Participants will not only raise awareness about mental health but also contribute to a growing network of support, helping to break the stigma surrounding mental health issues. By supporting the walk, you will demonstrate the crucial role that compassion, empathy, and partnership play in making mental health a priority for all.
Our support for the charity Mind, stems from their dedication in supporting, spreading awareness and fundraising in hopes of tackling the mental health crisis with 1 in 4 people who are said to experience mental health problem every year. Having built a partnership with Mind, we have also created a relationship with the charity and we hope to demonstrate our support and adoration for the charity by participating in the Winter Walk.
Your donations serves as more than a gift but as a powerful action that fuels change. Each donation takes Mind one step closer to its goals of changing, supporting and connecting our minds.
Meet some of the Winter Walk participants:
Joanna Di Monda - “I am completing the walk to ensure that MIND can continue the great work that they do to ensure that we all have access to information/resources in times of need. Tanisha Hyde - "I have decided to participate in the Winter Walk given my personal desire to emphasise the importance of mental health as an illness that directly and indirectly affects us all."
Jasmine Agyei - " The Winter Walk serves as an opportunity to spread awareness and demonstrate my support for the charity, MIND and their initiatives in tackling the mental health crisis."
Charlotte Staples - "I am participating in the Winter Walk to not only raise awareness about mental health but also to help provide support to people who may suffer or know someone who suffers with their mental health."
Elise Allen - "I have chosen to join the winter walk as I want to spread awareness and demonstrate my support for MIND. This charity continues to advocate for those who struggle with mental health and their impact encourages us to have open conversations about mental health as well as going above and beyond to maintain our wellbeing. I believe that anyone struggling with mental health should have access to the support that MIND can provide which is why I have chosen to participate in the walk. "
Maleah Rutty - "After becoming a mental health first aider I would love to spread awareness about the charity Mind and the great work that they do by providing a safe space for those struggling with their mental health."
