To raise money to provide clean water and hygiene education for people in Kenya

by Scarlett Robinson in Tonbridge, England, United Kingdom

My name is Scarlett. I am a first year student at university and I am taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak and the world's highest freestanding mountain. I am doing so to support Dig Deep who believe every resident in Kenya has a fundamental right to access clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene.

Dig Deep work in Bomet County, Kenya, home to 1 million people and one of the most underserved and least resourced areas of the country. Here, 2 out of 3 people don't have clean water, over half dont have safe toilets and children dont have access to basic hygiene education.

Through helping children and their families to realise their right to clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene, your support will save lives, improve education, empower women and girls and strengthen livelihoods.

Over £200 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
